Acceptance of Terms
These terms govern your use of gpu-unlock.online. In these terms, “we” refers to the operator of this website. By using the website, you agree to these terms to the extent that an agreement is formed under applicable law. If you do not agree, stop using the service. These terms do not override rights that applicable law makes non-waivable.
Description of Service
GPU Unlock provides GPU compatibility information, performance references, installation guidance, verification and rollback information, and links to original GitHub sources. The compatibility checker uses a static dataset in your browser. It is a reference tool, not an automatic hardware detector, diagnostic service or guarantee that a particular modification will work.
The first version has no accounts, registration, payments or application database. The website does not execute installation commands on your device, develop a GPU unlock driver, or distribute Windows installers.
Unofficial Project Disclaimer
This is an unofficial community reference website. It has no official affiliation, partnership, sponsorship or endorsement from NVIDIA, Zagitta, or the developers of the referenced open-source projects. Product and project names identify their respective products and sources; they do not imply authorization.
The original GPU Unlock developer identifies the GitHub repository as the original source and disclaims association with independent websites and installers. Always verify the source you are using.
Permitted Use
You may browse the reference material and use the compatibility checker for lawful purposes. Do not disrupt the service, attempt unauthorized access, distribute malware through our contact channels, misrepresent an affiliation, or use the website to infringe another person’s rights. Respect applicable law and the rights of third-party software owners.
These terms do not grant permission to bypass restrictions that apply to your hardware, software, employment, hosting environment or service agreements.
Third-Party Software and Links
External code, firmware, drivers, repositories and websites are controlled by their respective maintainers. Third-party open-source software is subject to its own licenses, notices and terms. You must review those requirements before downloading, modifying or redistributing it.
Links are supplied for reference and do not establish that software is safe or suitable for you. Windows community ports have requirements and evidence separate from the Linux project. We do not control external availability, content or later changes. See the Privacy Policy for third-party data handling.
GPU Modification Risks
Changing GPU drivers, kernel modules, boot parameters, firmware-related behavior, power management or hardware configuration can cause system instability, display loss, failure to boot, data loss, security problems, overheating or other damage. A successful report from another user does not remove these risks.
- Verify your exact GPU variant, PCI ID, operating system, kernel, driver and boot configuration against current upstream documentation.
- Back up important data and preserve a working boot configuration and recovery method before changing the system.
- Review the original commands, privileges, licenses and rollback steps. Do not run a command simply because a model name appears in this checker.
- Decide independently whether to proceed. Seek qualified assistance if you cannot assess or recover from the change.
These risk disclosures do not exclude any responsibility that applicable law does not permit us to exclude.
Accuracy of Information
Compatibility statuses and benchmark data are dated snapshots and can change with upstream releases, device revisions or operating environments. We distinguish upstream listings from independent verification, but do not test every card or configuration. An unknown or unlisted result is not a positive compatibility result.
Benchmarks describe their reported workload and conditions. Synthetic tensor throughput is not a promise of gaming FPS, LLM tokens per second or a particular application speedup. Verify current sources and your own circumstances before relying on the information. You can report a suspected error to our contact address.
Intellectual Property
Website materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property law except where another license or legal exception applies. Third-party code, data, trademarks and documentation remain subject to their owners’ rights and applicable licenses. These terms do not transfer ownership or grant a trademark license.
You may use content as permitted by applicable law and any license identified with that content. Preserve attribution and notices where required. No claim is made to ownership of NVIDIA trademarks or upstream project code.
Disclaimer of Warranties
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the website and reference information are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant uninterrupted availability, completeness, compatibility with every device, or a particular result. Implied warranties are excluded only to the extent the law permits that exclusion.
Nothing here excludes a warranty, consumer guarantee or other protection that applicable law requires and does not allow us to exclude.
Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of, or inability to use, this reference website, including losses arising from reliance on compatibility or performance information.
This limitation does not exclude or limit liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability, right or remedy that applicable law does not allow to be excluded or limited. Any mandatory consumer protections continue to apply. The extent of any limitation depends on the law applicable to the claim.
Changes to the Service
We may update, correct, suspend or discontinue website features or reference data. We do not promise continued support for a particular GPU, operating system or upstream version. Changes remain subject to any obligations that applicable law imposes.
Changes to These Terms
Revised terms will be posted at this URL with their update date. We will provide additional notice where required by law. A revision does not retroactively remove accrued rights or protections, and continued use has only the effect allowed by applicable law.
